School hoidays has just officially started! I’m pretty sure students in Brunei Darussalam is ecstatic just as I am. However, the bad thing about school holidays here is, I’m sorry to say this but there’s nothing to do here. No places to even visit. I mean there are a lot places it’s just that there’s not enough info for the publics y’knw.

I’ve been out of school for weeks ever since my examination was over. So, I’ve been thinking about going abroad but with the lack of money makes it impossible unless your parents are well supplied with ka-ching! Besides, our parents have to go to work so makes it difficult to go abroad.

So, why not just travel on my own you ask? Oh yeah, I’ve been thinking about it a lot. BUUUTT I’m absoultely sure that my parents would freak! You know, parents, they love their children and letting them go out of the country means them giving oppurtunities for them to get hurt. So that would be a big NO NO.

Every time I stepped outside the house, feels like, hmmmm where should go?

The Mall – ugh, there’s not much of an entertainment. It’s too common already. But honestly, Bruneians can’t avoid going to the mall especially when their salaries are out! Seriously, there would be taffic jam in every entrance leading to The Mall.

Jerudong Park – Before it was the most colourful and a very lively place to be and now it’s become very very quiet and dark too. And the rides have been taken out and makes me personally very depressed and sad. What I meant was disappointed.

I myself as a Bruneian only knows the places to visit in Brunei Muara district. I have never in my life went to the other three districts. That’s how little my knowledge about Brunei is. And honestly, I am embarassed and ashamed of my self.

But you know, what to do. I’m under age. I can’t drive. Needs permission to go out from the house. And sometimes it’s hard to go out. You gotta struggle a bit for your rights, you know what i mean.

Despite all of the things that i have said about Brunei, in the end it is the warmest and ‘homiest’ place to be. And there’s nothing more welcoming than the view of my own house!
